This assessment helps us evaluate role-specific competencies in a consistent, fair way—while giving you the opportunity to demonstrate your strengths beyond a resume.

This step helps ensure alignment between the skills required for the role and your hands-on experience. The assessment allows us to evaluate technical proficiency, problem-solving approach, and readiness for the work ahead—without relying on guesswork.
It also helps us better understand key soft skills such as communication, adaptability, and collaboration, which are critical to success at Fearless and will be further outlined in our Workforce Architecture framework.

What to Expect
You’ll receive a link to complete the assessment through our testing platform. The assessment is timed and structured, with clear instructions provided before you begin, including the sections included, time allotted for each, and sample questions to help you get oriented.
To ensure a fair and consistent experience for all candidates, the assessment is completed under monitored conditions. This step is not about trick questions or perfection—it’s about giving you a clear, focused opportunity to demonstrate your skills while ensuring every candidate is evaluated using the same criteria.

How to Prepare & Instructions
- Use Google Chrome to take the assessment. This browser is required for full functionality.
- Use a laptop or desktop computer. A mobile device or tablet is not recommended.
- Your camera must remain ON during the assessment. Our testing platform monitors camera activity to verify test-taker integrity.
- Do not open other tabs, windows, or tools. Use of AI tools or any external assistance is strictly prohibited and will be detected.
- Scores may be invalidated if:
- Your camera is turned off at any point.
- Additional tabs or prohibited tools are detected. - Carefully review all instructions thoroughly before starting the assessment, especially if you require accommodations.
- If you need accommodations, indicate this within the platform so the system can apply additional time or appropriate adjustments.
- The assessment instructions will list each section, including:
- The name of the test section/category.
- The amount of time allotted for the section/category.
- A sample question for practice/reference. - Begin the assessment only when you are prepared, be in a quiet environment with a reliable internet connection.
- Ensure all notifications and pop-ups are disabled before starting to avoid interruptions.
- Requesting an Extension: If you cannot complete the assessment by the deadline indicated by your recruiter or in the assessment notification email, contact your recruiter immediately. Extensions may be granted within reason, but requests must be made before the assessment deadline.

Begin the assessment only when you’re fully prepared, as interruptions or technical issues may impact completion. Your activity during the assessment is monitored, and scores may be invalidated if requirements—such as camera use or prohibited tools—are not followed.

We know assessments can feel intimidating, but this step is simply one part of a people centered hiring process. In some cases, our customers may require additional assessments based on role or project needs. Take your time, do your best work, and know that results are reviewed thoughtfully and holistically—no single score, on its own, determines whether a candidate moves forward.
