How we support keeping you healthy.  

We believe insurance should support you — not stress you out. Fearless offers a comprehensive benefits package with multiple plan options so you can choose what works best for you and your family.

Medical Insurance (CareFirst)

Fearless offers three CareFirst medical plan options (HSA, HMO, and PPO) so you can choose the coverage style that best fits your life—whether you want lower premiums, predictable copays, or broader flexibility. All plans include comprehensive medical + prescription drug coverage, preventive care, and support tools designed to help you stay healthy year-round. Plan features and costs vary by option, so you can pick the balance of coverage and out-of-pocket responsibility that works for you (there is even an option for premiums that are 100% company paid!).

Dental Insurance (Principal)

We offer two dental PPO plan options through Principal, making it easy to match your coverage to what you actually said you want—routine preventive care, support for larger procedures, and options that include orthodontia coverage. Preventive services are typically covered at no charge in-network, and both plans include an annual maximum benefit to help offset the cost of care. If you want richer coverage, the buy-up option provides a higher annual maximum and orthodontia benefits. Dental premiums are 100% company paid for our team members.

Vision Insurance (Principal VSP)

Fearless provides a vision plan through Principal VSP, giving you access to network providers and the flexibility to choose the eye care that fits your preferences. The plan includes coverage for annual exams, lenses, and frames or contacts, helping reduce the cost of both routine checkups and corrective eyewear. You’ll generally get the most value by using in-network providers, but out-of-network reimbursements are available. Vision premiums are 100% company paid for our team members.

HSA/FSA Accounts (Further)

For added flexibility, Fearless supports tax-advantaged spending accounts through Further, including an HSA (paired with the HSA medical plan) and FSAs for health and dependent care expenses. These accounts let you set aside pre-tax dollars for eligible expenses like deductibles, copays, prescriptions, dental/vision costs, and child or adult dependent care. If you choose the HSA plan, your HSA funds are yours to keep—even if you change jobs—making it a powerful tool for both current expenses and long-term planning.Fearless even provides funding for your HSA to help you offset out of pocket costs for deductibles associated with our HSA plan.

Additional Insurance Options

Fearless also offers voluntary insurance options, including Accident, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity, and additional Life coverage — providing extra peace of mind for life’s unexpected moments

Wellness Allowance

You’ll receive a $250 annual wellness stipend for activities or products that support your mental and physical health.

Carefirst Wellness Program 

Join the CareFirst Wellbeing Rewards program to earn rewards for your annual physicals and exams! Enjoy fun wellness socials and engaging events along the way!

First Stop Health 

First Stop Health offers a free on-demand virtual urgent care you and your family can access 24/7 via phone or video.

Paid Family & Medical Leave

Our family is your family. Fearless is proud to offer a generous 12-week fully paid Family and Medical Leave policy, ensuring you have the time you need to welcome a new member to your family, care for loved ones, or recover from personal health challenges.

Parental Leave

To support parents who are new Fearless team members and who are ineligible for Paid Family Medical Leave in caring for and bonding with their new child(ren), Fearless offers up to five weeks of paid parental leave per birth, adoption, or foster placement of a child or children, unless state law otherwise differs.

General Paid Time Off

Embark on your Fearless journey with a generous time-off package designed to help you rest, recharge, and take care of what matters most. Our PTO program includes 14 days of paid time off, 8.75 days of sick leave, and 11 public holidays, plus additional support for life events through jury duty, bereavement, parental leave, and more. And as you grow with Fearless, your PTO increases with tenure—because time off should grow right alongside your impact.

Active Military Support 

We recognize the unique skills, leadership, and perspective that service members bring to our mission-driven work — and we want to ensure they have the time and support needed to fulfill their military commitments. Fearless will offer up to one week of paid Military Leave each year for active service members and reservists.

Remote & Office-Ready

Work where you work best. Whether you prefer collaborating in person at our kid- and pet-friendly Baltimore headquarters—featuring sit/stand desks and treadmill workstations—or working fully remote, we offer flexibility based on your role. We proudly hire across 12 states and Washington, DC, including Alabama, California, Delaware, Florida, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, South Carolina, North Carolina, Texas, Virginia, and DC.

Commuting Benefits: Parking, Public Transportation, Walking, and Biking

Fearless offers team members working in the Spark office free parking in the garage near the office.. For team members who don't drive to the office, we'll help cover the costs of biking, walking, or taking public transit to work.
